Frog Pond’s daily reward runs on a 7-day cycle that pays 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes of your production, with a Tadpole Egg on day 7. A daily Pond Trial adds another 30 minutes of production for one small task. Four visitors arrive on fixed schedules: Bertram every morning, Lulu three afternoons a week, Old Croaker on Sundays and Pip every 5 to 10 days. Each one leaves 1 to 5 eggs when you greet them.

How does the Frog Pond daily reward work? #
Open the game once per calendar day and claim. The reward pops up on its own once per session, and you can also open it from the menu. The cycle repeats every seven days:

Rewards are based on your production at the moment you claim. Claim after you’ve spent your coins on frogs and upgrades for the session, not before. If you’re about to migrate, claim first, while your pond is at its strongest.
Miss a calendar day and the streak starts over at day 1. Days follow your phone’s local clock.
What do streak badges do? #
A long streak earns a badge that boosts all production:

The badge follows your current streak, so breaking it drops you back down. Separate achievements for reaching 7, 30 and 100 days (+1%, +3% and +10%) are based on your longest streak and stay forever once earned.
What are Pond Trials? #
A Pond Trial is one small challenge per day. Finish it and claim a Pond Medal plus 30 minutes of production. The trial changes daily, rotating through eight types:

The two timed trials, Tap Blitz and Frugal Run, only start counting when you press start, so pick your moment. If you finish a trial and forget to claim it, the game claims it for you the next day. Medals count toward achievements at 7 and 30 medals, worth +1% and +3%.
A trick for Upgrade Spree and Specialist Rush: they’re much easier right after a migration, when everything is cheap again.
When do Frog Pond visitors arrive? #
Visitors become available as your Pond Level rises. When one first becomes available, they show up within about a minute. After that, they keep to a schedule on your local clock:

You don’t need the app open at the exact hour. If a visitor was due while the game was closed, they show up when you next open it, as long as that’s within about a day of their scheduled time. Greeting a visitor ends that visit, and they come back on their next scheduled day.
How many eggs do visitors give? #
Each greeting adds 5 friendship (up to 100) and leaves eggs based on the new friendship level:

Bertram is the steady earner. Twenty daily greetings take him to 100 friendship, and after that he leaves 5 eggs every morning. Mystery Eggs from migrations can also add 10 friendship to a visitor at once.
Friendship matters for more than eggs. Four story chapters need a friendship level (Old Croaker 10, Bertram 50, Lulu 50, Pip 50), each visitor has a questline tied to later Pond Levels, and reaching 100 with each visitor earns an achievement worth +2% or +3% production. What happens on weekends? #
The Pond Festival runs every Saturday and Sunday and doubles your production. A gold banner counts down to the end. Offline earnings are worked out from your production rate when you reopen the game, so if you come back during the festival, the whole offline haul is doubled.
This makes weekends a strong time to push a run toward a big migration: Old Croaker arrives at noon on Sunday, the festival is on both days, and every coin you earn counts double toward your next batch of eggs.
How do you keep a streak without playing all day? #
Frog Pond is built for short check-ins. A routine that covers everything in two short sessions:
- Morning: collect your offline haul, claim the daily reward, greet Bertram, and check which Pond Trial is up.
- Evening: finish the trial, greet Lulu or Old Croaker if it’s their day, spend coins, and put the phone down. Your frogs earn for up to 8 hours while you’re away. Our guide to offline earnings in idle games explains how to stretch that.
The game can also send optional reminders if you turn notifications on. It schedules them on your phone for 8, 24 and 72 hours after you leave and cancels them as soon as you come back. There’s no server involved.

What happens if I miss a day in Frog Pond? #
Your streak resets to day 1 and the game tells you it broke. You lose the current streak badge, but achievements you’ve already earned for longer streaks stay.
What time does the daily reward reset? #
At midnight on your phone’s local clock. Claim once each calendar day to keep the streak.
Can I miss a visitor? #
Yes, if you don’t open the game for more than about a day after their scheduled arrival. They’ll come back on their next scheduled day. Pip, who only stays an hour, is the easiest to miss.
Do visitors need the internet? #
No. Visitors, the daily reward and Pond Trials all run on your phone’s clock and work offline.
